What Does the DPP Setup Process Actually Involve?
The time to create Digital Product Passports for a textile range breaks down into three distinct activities:
1. Data Collection from Suppliers (Most Time-Intensive)
The majority of DPP setup time — especially for brands with complex supply chains — is spent gathering information from suppliers: material compositions with exact percentages, production country confirmations, certification numbers, and harmful substance declarations. 2. Platform Entry via the 4-Step Wizard

3. QR Label Generation
Once a product is entered, generating serial numbers and downloading a PDF label sheet (24 labels per A4 page) or ZIP of individual QR images takes less than 5 minutes regardless of quantity. This is the fast part of the process — the effort is front-loaded in data collection and entry.
